“ Love the food! Always delicious, my go to are the rolled tacos! I've even drove to a couple other taco shops to compare, and here are the freshest fully loaded rolled tacos! The dinning area and service are always great..although always super busy it's still worth the trip! I recommend dinning in there because they always have music playing, they bring the food to your table with actual plates and silverware. They offer the delicious salsa bar and give you complementary chips! I also recommend their shrimp cocktail, I saw someone order one inside and me and my coworker ordered it the next time and was super delicious with 3 sizes of shrimp but still full of shrimp and avocado! Highly recommend. ”

“ I honestly don't understand why this restaurant has such bad reviews, I love this place. I've been coming for years. The soups are my favorite. The menudo, caldo de res, and caldo de res, tampiquena always hits the spot, they always have a great taste and it's always hot as it should be, the chips and salsa bar is always good, I love the salsa variety of non spicy- to mild to the way I like it spicy, coming from a Mexican this place is legit. Staff is always super nice and friendly and the place is spacious enough for my family and I. ”

“ I haven't been to Los Panchos in years, I just had a less than desirable experience at Taco Bell on East H. So I decided I'd fill up my gastank and device a plan B for dinner. As I drove past Los Poncho's I remembered that it was one of my Wife Gay and my favorite Mexican Restaurants in Chula Vista. That part of me died when she did. I decided to honor my wife's memory by having dinner there. I'm glad I did. My server was nice and patient with me. I was torn between The Carnitas combo and the Carne asada quesadilla. I ended up with the quesadilla. I was happy with my choice but decided to return for the Carnitas another day. My server offered me some tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa bar had several salsas to choose from If there was a sign to identify each one,or how hot or mild they were I missed that. I tried a green one, a white one, and a red one. I think there were 3 types of red. I also sampled the carrots but wasn't in the mood fo Jalapeños this visit. It took a little while for my quesadilla to arrive. It was understandable because there were a lot of cars in the drive through. Speaking of the drive through, if you park on the wrong side of the building you'll have to wait for a couple of cars to pull-up so you can exit the parking lot. I'll keep that in mind for next visit. ”
